The doors have been open for a few weeks now, and while the first readers wander the forest, we’ve been busy at the workbench. Here’s the first batch of improvements.

The reading page now takes orders

Right-click any lexical unit while reading, or long-tap it, if you’re holding a phone, and a small menu appears. From it, you can add a word or phrase to your learning that the current difficulty didn’t pick for you, remove one you’d rather not be bothered with, or report a bug on the spot. Your Vocabulary is no longer only what the tale hands you. It’s yours to curate, mid-sentence, without ever leaving the page.

And the same spirit reached the Vocabulary page itself: every entry now carries a remove button, for the words you’ve decided you’re well and truly done with.

You can add the word back anytime during reading, should you change your mind.

Tips while you read

Small tips now keep you company as you read: reminders of features you might have missed, notes on the quirks of the language you’re learning, and the occasional remark we simply couldn’t keep to ourselves.

We said we read every report, and we meant it, so we’ve added more places to file them. The tale reading page now carries its own report button for anything technical or visual that misbehaves, and every individual example in your Vocabulary can be reported on its own, should one of them ever strike you as odd.
