When the new farmer comes up with plans for "intensive meat production," the animals of The Farm decide they've had enough. What starts as a righteous rebellion quickly turns into a spectacular disaster that leaves one very lazy pig wondering how he became the reluctant leader of a farmyard revolution. Now he's stuck organizing council meetings and covert operations with a council that includes everyone from an overwhelmed rooster to a scheming tomcat. Our porcine protagonist finds out that overthrowing a farmer is the easy part. The real challenge? Convincing his fellow animals that maybe—just maybe—they actually need a plan. This unlikely team of barnyard revolutionaries must figure out how to keep their farmer distracted, their farm running, and themselves off the dinner table. An amusing tale of good intentions, questionable leadership, and what happens when animals discover that being in charge is a lot more work than they bargained for.
